This week's prompt from Sticky Fingers is 'Food', and since I had just been to take pictures at the Taverna where my daughter works, I thought of including some of those pictures here.
It's a small place with a small staff one valley over from our village. Summer is the tourist season, and the tables are full every night. The kitchen was small and hot and very busy. I hope that the pictures convey that -- to see them bigger, please click on each image.

I think your photo's capture the mood in the taverna exactly as you describe. The food looks delicious. I've not even started cooking supper tonight, but now very hungry x.
